We collected Ruby from the storage place. Lynda managed to drive the van through the village and onto the A11 northbound for a few miles, did very well.

We did mean to head for Blickling Hall (National Trust) but I got Aylsham (right) mixed up with Acle (wrong). There was an accident on the A47 so we turned off and headed along some pleasant country lanes. We soon came to signs for Caister on sea and as we have never been there before we thought we would pay a visit. We got our fish and chips in the town then parked up down by the sea and lifeboat station. After eating and having a cup of tea we went for a stroll across the sand dunes and onto the beach.

This was just a day out to give the van a bit of a run but we quite enjoyed it. I am very pleased with the mileage we are getting from the van - 27.9 mpg is not bad for something as unaerodynamic as this.

Our van up to its axles in weeds at the storage place. Owner says he is going to try to get us a different pitch.

Nice trip to Caister on Sea, its not St Tropez but it was okay for us.
