11th May 2019 - Void Vacon, And Its Still Raining

We had done all the things we had to do, filled up with water emptied the toilet cassette etc quite early and we were off. Our first stop was the Ligny En Barrois branch of Lidl. Lynda only wanted a couple of items originally but ended up needing a trolley.

We have only about 16 miles to go today to the free aire at Void Vacon. Aire looked a tad scruffy but Lynda was pleased there were several vans here. Most notable thing about today was the constant rain, we even ended up playing I spy and hangman etc!

Rain eventually stopped at about 16.00 so we took the opportuity to have a look round the village. Nice French village so we were glad we made the effort to walk over the canal bridge and explore.

As I type this we have moved on and we are luxuriating in reasonably quick wifi. Cost me 3 euros for 2 days worth mind you. Where are we? You'll have to hang on till I have taken some photos. How exciting for you!
