25th August 2019 - 3 Days At Rottenberg

We don't normally stay anywhere for 3 days, we usually get itchy feet after a couple of days at the most and move on. This time though we had a 55 mile drive on twisty roads to the stellplatz at Rottenberg Am Neckar so that we could spend some time with Lynda's sister and her husband who live here.

They only live about a 15 minute walk from the stellplatz, so very handy.

The stellplatz is nice and quiet and only 5 euros a night plus electrickery and water.

Pleasant and historic town.

We were well looked after by Lynda's sister and her husband.

We all had very nice ice creams at a pavement cafe.

This was mine, I had 'spaghetti' ice cream with extra strawberry sauce.

We had a couple of games of Querkle. How could I possibly come last?
