20th August 2021 - Busy Month

By our standards we have been comparatively 'busy' this month and need a bit of a rest!

First up was a visit to see our friends Carl and Lina, after a delicious lunch we had a walk round the town and finished up in a pub garden!

In.the pub garden with Carl and Lina.

A visit from youngest Grandson Joe.

Following a weekend visit by another grandson during which we went to see Peter Rabbit 2 we had a visit from Jack and Theresa who have been celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in Norwich.

Lunch at Rocket House Cafe with good friends Jack and Theresa.

A gloomy and cloudy photo of the pier.

Photo taken from our bench up by the lighthouse.

Kids love playing with boats in the park.

Lynda and I enjoy live music so thought we would see what the social club has to offer. On14th August we went to see The Glamtastics who were very good.

At the social club - bit loud for us!

Me 'enjoying' The Glamtastics.

Banksy, a well known grafitti artist has left 'artworks' in many areas of  East Anglia. The one we went to see in Cromer is unfortunately being 'protected' by the local council.

The polar bear is back!

The carnival is supposed to be on this week. This small float was advertising next years event.

I'm sure you want to know how we are getting on with the pandemic. As I type  this  we apparently have a still high 124 infections per 100,000 people.

  1. You think your infection rate is high, ours is off the scale lately. Cornwall is completly rammed. Hopefully will go down when the holiday makers go home.
    Interesting choice of music Paul.

  3. I usually look at the BBC page - coronavirus lookup tool, here in North Norfolk we are on 133 per 100,000 - has been as low as 3!

Cornwall is at 434 per 100,000’
