This, according to the guide book, is a very historic town with a lot of buildings and artefacts from the Roman era among other things. Unfortunately, looking at the map, the town was quite a long way from where we were parked up.
We were more interested in the McDonalds outlet literally across the road from where we were parked. The all the aires book said McD's wifi signal would reach the car park so we thought we must be in luck at last.
Typically, McD chose today to have a problem with their wifi service (the French pronounce it 'whiffy' by the way) and even though we had shelled out for a cheeseburger and chips etc we could still not get things updated. Same problem with the bowling alley next door.
Not much else to report about this stop, nice lake nearby but nothing else exciting. We just chilled out most of the time.
| Nice lake right by the aire, we have been spoilt by having views like this, now we think nothing of it! |
