Only last week Lynda phoned a firm that buys motorhomes, they offered a fair price but needed the van ASAP as it was nearly the end of the season.
We were not due to leave Breydon Water until nearly the end of this month,so, having accepted their provisional offer, the race was on to get the van ready for today!
If you have read the post from 18th March, of course you have, you will know there was some bodywork damage to Ruby that we 'forgot' to mention to the firm buying the van so we had to get straight over to our son in laws workshop for some repairs.
A couple of days frantic repairing and cleaning followed so that Ruby looked her best ready for the assessor's visit this morning.
In the end the repairs were not even mentioned. What was brought up was the quite serious amount of damp in Ruby's floor which we didn't even know about. This resulted in a slightly lower price.
So, what's going to happen to the old blog I'm sure you are desperate to know. Apart from a possible slight change of name things will no doubt carry on!
Oh no what have you done? This is a drastic move just because I've not been keeping up to date with my blog. Actually, I fully understand your reasons and we wish you well as you now "set down roots" once again. Stay in touch and thanks for sharing your motorhome life with us all.
ReplyDeleteHi Carl and Lina
ReplyDeleteYes, quite drastic action I suppose. We will tell you all about it next time we see you.
